Breast Cancer

If a doctor or health care provider fails to follow the standards recognized by the medical community for the diagnosis or treatment of breast cancer, he or she may be sued for medical malpractice. Any delay in treatment or omitted test findings could have disastrous results. If proper procedure is not followed, breast cancer that could otherwise be prevented or treated could progress.

Screening for Breast Cancer

Screening for breast cancer should be an annual routine for women. A mammogram is a recognized tool for prevention. If breast cancer is suspected, comprehensive diagnostic testing, such as MRI, blood testing or bone scans, are necessary.
